MEET ANA MOLINA, ADVOCACY DIRECTOR
Ana Molina has been in the environmental justice movement since 2017 when she moved to Oregon and worked with OJTA member Beyond Toxics. As their statewide environmental justice projects manager, she worked on advocacy and community organizing at both the community and statewide levels.
At Oregon Just Transition Alliance, she directs community-led advocacy campaigns and projects, such as the Energy Justice Community Leaders Program, the Oregon Clean Energy Opportunity Campaign, and Community Resilience Hubs. Through these projects, she’s helped shift power to communities long excluded from decision-making and secured millions of dollars in investments for Oregon’s frontline communities.
A strong advocate for racial and climate justice, she holds many advisory and board positions, including with the Oregon Racial Justice Council, Seeding Justice, and Columbia Riverkeeper. She holds her B.S., Environmental Science and Management from Cal Poly Humboldt with a concentration in Ecological Restoration and a minor in Wildland Soil Science.
